SNIA Specifications for Energy Efficiency Measurement

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

SNIA Green Storage work group will provide an update on SNIA Emerald specification work for storage systems, to update its block IO and filesystem IO workloads, and test& measurement tools. Additionally, an update will be provided on stroage device testing specification, the tools, the workloads, and the flexibility to create organization specific/application specific workloads. Both test specification provide industry building blocks for industry regulators to set regional requirements for energy usage and efficiency for data storage in the data center.
