SNIA Swordfish® v1.2.7 Bundle Available for Download

SNIA Storage Management Initiative (SMI) is pleased to announce that Swordfish® v1.2.7 is now available as a SNIA Standard. Swordfish provides a standardized approach to manage storage and servers in hyperscale and cloud infrastructure environments.
Swordfish v1.2.7 is released in conjunction with DMTF Redfish® version 2024.2, enabling DMTF and SNIA to jointly deliver new functionality.
Key features of Swordfish v1.2.7 include:

  • New Swordfish Interoperability Guide, which contains:
    • Comprehensive reference guide to the Swordfish-specific extensions to the profile syntax
    • Detailed usage guide for Swordfish features and profiles
  • Enhanced Swordfish Features Registry to support resource-level features
  • NVMe® technology support for Command and Feature Lockdown via a trio of commands: ConfigurationLock, TargetConfigurationLockLevel and ConfigurationLockState
