Cloud Data Management Interface (CDMI) Conformance Test Program Now Available

The SNIA Cloud Data Management Interface (CDMI) is an ISO/IEC standard that enables cloud solution vendors to meet the growing need for interoperability of data stored in the cloud. Conformance testing for the CDMI specification is now available through the CDMI Conformance Test Program (CTP). The CDMI CTP validates a cloud product’s conformance to the CDMI standard and offers assurance that the standard has been properly implemented and that data stored will be transportable to any other conformant implementation.

SNIA has collaborated with Tata Consultancy Services to provide comprehensive testing to ensure CDMI conformance. Learn how you can get started with CDMI testing today.

How Ethernet RDMA Protocols iWARP and RoCE Support NVMe over Fabrics
January 26, 2016

NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) over Fabrics is of tremendous interest among storage vendors, flash manufacturers, and cloud and Web 2.0 customers. Because it offers efficient remote and shared access to a new generation of flash and other non-volatile memory storage, it requires fast, low latency networks, and the first version of the specification is expected to take advantage of  RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) support in the transport protocol. This live webcast will explore and compare the Ethernet RDMA protocols and transports that support NVMe over Fabrics and the infrastructure needed to use them.
