Introducing OpenSDS | SNIA | Experts on Data

Abstract

OpenSDS is an open source project aiming to address storage integration challenges, particularly in scale-out cloud native environments with heterogeneous storage platforms. This session will provide an overview of the project including the goal and mission, value proposition, and key reference project the team is working on. The 2nd part of the session will look under the hood and reveal more detail about the project architecture, as well as some of the design thinking, goal and concept. Demo will be provided to show how OpenSDS can interact and support other upstream software platform such as Cloud Native.
