This encompasses data services, orchestration and management, as well as the promotion of portability of data in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.

Technical Work
Promoting and Supporting Technical Work to:
- Facilitate, host and promote SNIA Cloud Object Storage multi-vendor heterogeneous interoperability testing
- Proactively build the expert community to broaden multi-vendor compatibility testing into new use cases
- Drive collaborative discussions among the peer community to gain consensus on common API command set
- Define best practice around protocol options and behavior changes
- Empower an industry forum to collaboratively advocate among ecosystem stakeholders on future direction
- Streamline overall industry effort to expedite affordable, timely and efficient Cloud Object Storage compatibility testing
- Promote the SNIA Cloud Storage Technical Work Group's development of the SNIA CDMI™ (Cloud Data Management Interface) open ISO standard (ISO/IEC 17826:2022) for managing data namespaces.
- Advocate for CDMI extension development activities (Validators extension published)
